Summary
This repository contains an R-based thesis project analyzing biodiversity (alpha, beta, gamma diversity) for vegetation and butterflies (Lepidoptera) in Armenia. The workflow includes data loading and preprocessing from Excel files, calculation of ecological indices (Shannon, Simpson, AED), statistical modeling with GLMs and GAMs, ordination (NMDS), beta-diversity partitioning, and Rényi diversity profiles. It is a complete, self-contained academic analysis project.
